Grass Valley resident Ariana Zimmerman feels that bringing heavy industry into a residential area just for the sake of 300 jobs is a bad idea, not only because of the impact on people in the immediate area, but also for potential environmental problems. She points out that there are currently many lower-paying jobs available and offers an alternate proposal for creating higher-paying jobs that would be more peaceful and eco-friendly.
